Who are we?

Smartmove Media comprises 36 staff and ambassadors. Leading the charge are two guys called Simon.

	Can I lease a car for my business and give it to a staff member?
	Of course you can.... our cars are all covered by commercial insurance allowing any driver who holds a valid drivers license to drive.
	What is the minimum period for a Smartlease?
	Our short term Smartlease (self driven) is a minimum of three months and our Media product is monthly.
	What makes your fleet “carbon neutral?
	We have teamed up with Greenfleet and The Sustainable Business Network NZ to offset our vehicle emissions.
	What makes your mobile advertising medium different from say buses?
	Have you ever met a friendly bus driver?
	What do I have to do to become an ambassador?
	Go to our "Drive" section and take a few minutes to fill out the online application. We then asses each application on a case by case basis according to various criteria.
	How many Kms does each car cover?
	Each car covers a minimum of 1000 kms per month and some up to 3000 giving an average of 2000 per month. Each car is individually GPS tracked allowing us to give our clients ongoing and post campaign analysis.
	Can you get the cars together all at once during a booking?
	Yes indeed. We arrange convoys/park ups for our clients depending on their requirements.
	Who pays for the petrol?
	Petrol is covered by the ambassadors (cheap as chips at 4.7 litres to every 100 kms), all other on road costs are covered by us.
	Are the cars painted?
	The cars are all black (purposeful of course) until they are wrapped. We wrap the cars in a pre-printed high grade 3M product.
	Can we change the rear windows to suit fluctuating information such as retail sales?
	Yes, this is something that has been very popular with our retail clients. The rear windows can be turned around within 24 hours which works very well for reactive campaigns such as sales or changes in interest rates!
	Do I have to book 20 cars, what’s the minimum?
	You can book 1 car or 62 cars depending on availability.
	Do you have cars in smaller towns?
	Yes, our Smartlease cars can be placed anywhere in New Zealand. We currently have cars as far South as Invercargill. Our Media cars (ambassador driven) are available in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
	Can you offer sampling during a campaign?
	Yes we can. Again, this comes down to the requirements of the client. We can sample during group meets and also 24/7 throughout the campaign.
	What does the Smartlease package include in terms of ongoing costs? Are there any hidden extras?
	Hmm, nothing worse than hidden extras such as coordination fees and disbursements. No, the only thing left to pay after we have covered the on road costs is petrol and thats roughly half the cost of the average car!
	How long does it take from finished artwork to having the car on the road?
	This really does depend on how many cars are booked. To be on the safe side we like to allow one week from delivery of final artwork, having said that.... we once changed 25 cars out in 48 hours!
	Do you have ‘set up’ design files for fast creative work?
	Yes, we are happy to send our artwork files out on request. We also have a very easy to use photoshop file for presentations, again, we send this out on request.
